Black Belts Grading @ Macleod 29th March
We have a terrific group of students applying themselves towards their Black Belt testing at Macleod on Sunday 29th March from 9am. At this stage we will be testing 4th Dan, 2nd Dan, a great new group of potential 1st Dans and maybe even some new ChoDanBo's (probationary black belts). All our Black Belt students are graded to Kukkiwon standards and receive an internationally-recognised certificate from Korea.

Coloured Belts Grading Macleod 28th March
Our next student belts grading will be held on Saturday 28th March at Macleod from 8.15am (A timetable and grading application form will be emailed to everyone soon). Please note that in order to grade students must first have passed the 3 pre-grading belt tape requirements of Poomsae (Yellow tape), Sparring (Blue tape), and Self-Defence (Red tape).
Kinglake student gradings will be on Thursday 2nd April at the Kinglake West Hall from 5pm.

ATV State Moomba Competition 15th March
This is the first State competition of the year, to be held at the Parkville State Hockey and Netball centre on Sunday 15th March. Our Poomsae and Sparring competitors are already working in preparation for this event! Club competition training is on Saturdays (Sparring at 9am, Poomsae at 10.15am). Students wishing to compete at state level must first qualify through our club pathways programs, such as the Raptor event below.

"Fight Camp" @ Raptor TKD 7th March
This event is a fantastic opportunity for our sparring competitors to gain valuable experience and develop their sparring fitness and skills in a friendly inter-club environment. At this stage we have 15 Tigers students already registering their interest in joining our crew training with Beaconsfield TKD and our good friends at Raptor Taekwondo (Vesper Dve Narre Warren) on Saturday 7th March - come along from 1-3pm and give it a try if you think you might like to improve your sparring! Please email Tim your expression of interest. This event is a qualifying event for state sparring championships through our club pathways program.

Kind Regards,
Tigers Taekwondo Team
