COVID Update Tuesday 20-July 2021

 Hi Tigers

As you may be aware COVID lockdown will continue to at least 11:59pm Tuesday the 27th of July.

At this stage Grading’s for the 31st of July and 1st August are still going ahead.

The two classes preceding them Wednesday the 28th and Friday the 30th will be solely for evaluation of your ability to grade.

If you cannot demonstrate the requirements you will not be permitted to grade.

Keep a close watch on our Social media in-case we have to have a last minute change of venue for Wednesday the 28th

The next grading opportunity for Colour Belts will be Saturday September 11 so don’t panic if you are not sure of the content.

If the lock down extends beyond Tuesday the 27th of July, There will be no grading’s on the weekend of the 31st and 1st.

The Colour Belt grading and the Black Belt Grading will be re-scheduled at the earliest available opportunity, that allows for prior evaluation.

Students grading to probationary Black Belt (Cho Dan Bo) will still be eligible to grade to Black belt at the end of the year.

The message here is to practice your syllabus requirements at home as much as possible and feel free to contact me at any time for clarification of any content.

I have had a question asked with regards to online classes leading up to grading.

The answer is, I should reserve all online time for specific grading question/demonstrations.

So is you are unsure of anything, text / message / email, and we develop a solution in the best way possible.

For example I had a request regarding on of the Black Belt sparring drills, which was easily resolved by me creating a quick YouTube video demonstration.

All the best heads up and keep training,

Gary
